A vacancy has arisen for an Administrator at our busy Care Home in Greenfield.

This position is for 32 hours per week.  The hours of work are 9.00am till 5.00pm, you will work four days between Monday to Friday. You will be expected to work additional hours from time to time to cover holidays and sickness, or to support the business with any additional administration needs. 

We offer 5.6 weeks annual leave and a rate of pay above the national minimum wage.

Our Administrator will provide and manage all administrative systems and processes to perfection to help our Home Manager effectively run the service.  This will include working with the Homes other Administrator, Clinical Lead Nurse and our team of Nursing and Care staff to support with all aspects of administration.

Brief Overview:

You will be required to provide reception support answering incoming calls, passing to relevant persons and taking detailed messages, receiving and forwarding emails, greeting visitors and visiting professionals and acting as a first point of contact.

To provide any aspects of administrative support to include typing, filing, photocopying, scanning and any other duties required by the Home.

You will update all personnel records such as staff absence and holidays, DBS updates, contracts of employment and training records.  You will support with staff rotas.

To support with payroll and accounting tasks to include data inputting of hours worked and posting information to customer and supplier ledgers. 

You will provide administrative support to all staff and departments within the Home as and when required.

In Order to be considered for this post you will need the following:

  • Ideally three years of administrative experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Experience in drafting / writing communications.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
